could it be herpes?

I just posted this in Dermatology, but it probably should have gone here instead.  Apologies if anyone was really quick and read this posting in two forums.
I should add that I was not sexually active for two years before this relationship, and am totally monogamous.
Recently my bf accidently scratched the tip of my clitoris during oral sex.   By the 4th day afterwards it was swollen and painful, and he said there was a bit of pus from the scratch. I also realized later that one reason it was so painful was because there were also at least two sores, looking like cold sores, on the labia lips. I applied polysporin and cleaned it regularly.  Now it's 10 days later, and at least 5 or six more open sores  have appeared on my buttocks, following my crack.  They are red and somewhat painful. They appear to be changing to a more irritated red dot like pustules with a larger irritated area.  We have been together three years, and neither of us have ever had a cold sore in our lives. I also think I developed a yeast infection yesterday since I'm starting to itch today. So I 'm very scared and unhappy, and wondering if I got infected through my scratch, which by the way is healing.  What other type of infection would fit this description?

you need to go be seen and have this looked at. It's already 10 days later.

Do not continue to apply neosporin to this.  Neosporin can be very irritating to our delicate genital skin. it's not intended to be applied to the genital mucosa.

Do not self treat for a yeast infection either. Go be seen and properly examined diagnosed.
