Low tsh,-- Low actual hormones

by 40mills, Jul 03, 2008 02:45PM
My question is:  My tsh is 0.09---My free t3 is at the very bottom of range and so is the free t4.
I am having symptoms of hypothyroid, I am fatigued, sometimes have sleep apnea, and have gained weight and also have to use laxatives for constipation.  My dr. says I cannot increase my Armour thyroid i take -90mgs do you think i would be better off finding another dr. more knowledgeable?
THanks.........

My doc said that when you are on Armour you cannot go by the TSH because it is going to look like you are hyper. If your Free T3 is low then you can use more....wonder why your T4 is low normal....that should say you are converting with no problem. I would tend to think you need more.
You need to as Stella about this....she is the Armour guru!
