Cyst in the breast

Hi I am fourteen years old and last year was diagnosed with mastitis. The lump went away with medication. Then recently I noticed a little bit of tenderness in my chest and two large lumps. I went to the doctor and she said its most likely cyst, but to be sure I'm getting a sonogram. I'm really nervous its breast cancer though, since both my aunt and grandma had breast cancer. And the soreness in my chest my doctor told me was most ikely hormonal and before my period. I'm really scared and nervous about breast cancer. These lumps have been there for a long time now. Is it likely for me to have breast cancer?

Dear Deliah, sorry to hear about your problem! Do not be nervous or afraid! There are thousands of us with similar problems and even if it is cancer these days it can be treated and people live with it!!! But, you have to go after it and have it checked out! Your doctors can do mammogrrams/sonograms/PET or CT scans and even do a genetic testing to help you decide what to do. Do not let anybody tell you its nothing and its just "hormones", have it checked so YOU KNOW its NOTHING! GOOD LUCK!!!!
