I know you are supposed to wait for your 1st period after a D&C before trying again. I am not sure if I actually had on I bled lightly on and off for a few days so I don't know if that would be considered a period. Well I took a preg test today actually took two and they were positive so should I be worried? My breasts are hurting sooner than they did last time I just don't know if I should be worried about it being too soon after the D&C to be pregnant again.

Oh boy, sounds like you are definately pregnant! I wouldn't worry about it happening so soon, as long as your M/C was not extremely traumatic. Most doctors recommend waiting for your emotional healing, as well as proper dating. It is very common for some ladies to get pregnant right away.

Congrats!

My Dr. had told me to wait for 3 months before trying again after my Dec. D&C.  Being I'm 34, I told him that we were going to start trying again right away and hope for the best...He told me that the only risk with that was that if the new embryo (if we were to get pregnant right away) implanted in the same spot as the miscarried embryo was implanted, that there was in increased risk for M/C again...however, I'm guessing that the chances of implantation taking place in the exact same spot is pretty low......Congrats and try to think positive!  :o)

did you have your levels checked after d and c?  it took my levels more than a month to dro back down to 0, so if i took a preg test within that month it would have tested positive, but there is a high chance you are pregnant again.  i would go and have your levels checked at the doctors on monday and again on wed to see i they are doubling.

I had a MC and D&E in Feb. this year and I never got a period after that because I was pregnant! I was told not to try for a while and wait at least 2-3 months (especialy since there was a molar pregnancy scare - but turns out it wasn't) I really wasn't trying to get pregnant, it just (oops) happened! And I'm glad it did! I'm now 17 weeks pregnant with a little boy and doing good! I'm sure your doc. or midwife will want to do an early US to date the pregnancy better so give them a call for an appoinment! Good luck and I hope everything turns out good this time! I know how you feel!!

I got pregnant 6 weeks after my miscarriage and now I have a beautiful 6 month old daughter! Try not to stress if your body wasn't ready it wouldn't have happened.

Sounds like your preggo, send baby dust this way, I had d&c on june 17th dr said wait one cycle, hoping AF comes sometimes in July, will ttc in august & september.  But yes, you can get preggo right after m/c and right after having babies.  Like some of the other women suggested, i would go to dr s office and get checked out.  I took pregnancy test on june 27th it said positive, if test is postive on july 17th, im going to have them check my levels because i want to ttc again, i just might go in on monday and request a blood draw, i think they should ve offered me that, after reading a lot of post, i didnt no how important it is to get levels checked, i just assumed my le vels should be at zero by august, foolish of me thinkn that.  Good luck and have a happy nine months, please keep us posted.
