Did I have one or not?

OK so i was sitting at work and out of nothing i felt a stinging pain in the middle of my chest. nothing else hurt just that one spot (the traingle where your ribs come together). when it was over with , it took like a good minute, maybe two, I was sweating and feeling warm.
Sometimes i have those pains and learned to deal with it, this one seemed a little more persistent then the others.
Was this a heart attack?

The duration and type of pain are not typical of a heart attack, but some do happen as you described so play it safe and get checked out.
