Strange empty holes bottom of my finger

Ok so i suffer from eczema and recently I discovered at the bottom of the finger next to my little finger i had these pin ***** sized holes. I wouldnt have worried but the holes don't appear to have any blood or clotting in them, they are just dark holes, there are 4 or 5. My finger doesnt hurt or anything, doesn't hurt when i touch it or anything, If i wasn't bored at work the other week i wouldn't have noticed it.

Should i be worrying about these holes? They are where the finger joins to the hand, in the creasy bit. thanks

Could the empty holes be anything else serious? Is it anything to really worry about?

Hi

I do understand your concern. This explains a lot of things. A history of a fungal infection appears to be causing this. You may continue with the antifungal medication as the condition may be recurrent and chronic. It takes patience for skin conditions such as this. Wash your hands with a gentle cleanser and refrain from unnecessarily touching other affected areas.

I know you are worried about this but fungal infections with associated dermatitic skin conditions should not be hard to control.

I have recently been treated for a fungal infection on my feet, which has spread to my hands. I am using Clotrimazole cream twice a day. The fungus looks like clear fluid bubbles under the skin, some turning yellow.

These empty holes are only one one finger, they are not on the same finger on my right hand, only my left. I was starting to worry a lot about it, put my mind at rest :D

Hi

These holes may be explained by popped vesicles. These vesicles may be caused by dishydrosis or pompholyx as well as herpetic whitlow.

Have you noted ay vesicles in the area?

Dishydrotic eczema may start as vesicles or pompholyx in the hands. They may present as vesicles containing clear fluid. These may appear on the fingers and they may be itchy and progress into a weepy rash.

Is this similar to your case?
