pain in groin/testicle

by twister2k333, Jul 06, 2008 12:22AM
I've had a recurring problem for several months that has gradually become more severe. It's a range of symptoms. Here is a list of my symptoms (all of which have been occuring for 2-3 months).
1. A few seconds after I ejaculate I feel a severe, sharp pain in my left testicle that lasts for 1-2 seconds. This happens every time and is quite painful.
2. The lymph node area in my left groin has a continual low-grade aching pain that never goes away. It hurts more on some days that others but I wouldn't categorize the pain as severe.
3. At time, I feel a tenderness in my left lower abdomen just below the waistline.
4. When I stretch my back in certain positions it causes a pain in my left groin area.

That about covers it. I'm really not sure what to make of it but I realize I need to go see a doctor. Anyone have a clue what could be causing this?

Hi,

It is possible that you have an inflammation of the epididymis as the pain appearsto occur with activity that causes the duct to stretch or empty.
The inflammation may be in response to an infection r just irritation.

You will need to consult a urologist in this regard and will probably be advised to complete a course of antibiotics to treat any underlying infection.

Additionally, an inguinal hernia on the left side will also need to be ruled out.

Sitting in ahot bath for 10-15 min twice daily can help reduce the pain and mediate healing.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
regards
