TAKING INSULIN

by GSN, Jul 06, 2008 10:05AM
Hi,

I do not know whether i am type I, or II but i am living with high blood suger past 12 years.
On the very beginning, ie. year1996 i take care much more (i was the then the age of 30) and slowly and slowly i.e. after 3 years i left all medcine. Because of hypoglicemia i faced a lot of headache and as such i did not concentrate on  my job (purely brain energy consuming job)

As such I reduced my diet drastically and discontinue to intake insulin on day to day basis.
My pathological reading except blood suger all are shown normal.  But doctors on my area are warning again and again the consequence of non-intake insulin and other drugs.

My Hba1c is above 8

My fast/ long  walk was discontinued past 2 years and as such now i am feeling a pain from thigh to knee portion when i walk occassionally.

My vision, heart, kidney shows normal limits

Kindly advise me how i overcome the situation

You need to work with your Dr. on this. We can't help you. You need a proper diagnosis to understand which type of diabetes you have, and from there, your health care team will set up a treatment plan for you.

Please follow the advice of your Dr. That is the best way to live a healthy life.
