What the Heck?

by Hatin_It, Jul 06, 2008 10:38AM
I had my baby 11 weeks ago. I got my first period about 4 weeks ago. It was semi-normal. Then about a week and a half later I had another one. This one was VERY heavy and even had some clots in it so I went to see my OB and they took an ultrasound and said everything was fine. It FINALLY went away after about 7-8 days of ridiculously heavy flow. Now it is back again already and heavy as before and I have been off for less than a week. Should I be worried even though the doc said everything is good? Is this normal?

No; I would worry about this second one because of the chance of becoming anemic from losing so much blood. Even if the Dr. said not to worry when he knew you had the first heavy period, he needs to know you are having another one SO close to it already. That would most likely change his opinion that everything is okay.
Good luck!!!
