This may be a case of blepharitis. This does not sound like an emergent case , however , you need to have this assessed by your doctor so that you would be given the right medications. It is important to determine that the visual problem is due to the eyelid sore and not secondary to more internal structures like the blood vessels of the eye and retina.
Apply a warm compress over the eye for 15 minutes. Seek immediate consult since this may be painful and you need antibiotics for this.
