skin infection spreading to eyelid

This may be a case of blepharitis. This does not sound like an emergent case , however , you need to have this assessed by your doctor so that you would be given the right medications. It is important to determine that the visual problem is due to the eyelid sore and not secondary to more internal structures like the blood vessels of the eye and retina.

Apply a warm compress over the eye  for 15 minutes. Seek immediate consult since this may be painful and you need antibiotics for this.

i just looked up blehartis. my mistake.  not on eyelid, it is on the soft tissue under the brow and swollen.  the sore is not open but it is a purple brown.  this is how some start.  i don't want a huge lesion above my eye.  it is the same as the rest.
