Distorted Vision

by scotty33, Jul 07, 2008 11:55AM
I am a newly diagnosed Lupus patient and I have a problem. Four months ago I started having trouble with my vision. The only way I can describe it is the way I see things is different. My vision is not really blurry but it is more like wearing glasses for the first time.  It seems to be comforted at night.  Please help.  I was having tremors also so i saw a neurologist who did an emg.  I will be getting my result next wk.  I saw a opthalmologist today who check my optic nerves and checked me for glaucoma and didnt find anything wrong. I will be having a visual field test in his office later this week.  Any suggestions as to why my vision is distorted.  I had an MRI of the brain and a MRA.  Both normal.  My opthalmologist thinks that it could be neurological since it is not just one eye.  Could it be peripheral edema?  Please help?
