Hello. Quick question for someone...my bf got tested and his score was .06. which was in the negative range. but i thought that negative means you have it, and positive means you dont. Does this mean he has it?

A negative herpes blood test means that your body has not produced antibodies for the virus (I'm assuming he had an HSV-2 test).  A positive result means that your body has produced antibodies in response to the virus.  If your boyfriend had a type specific IgG blood test, such as HerpeSelect, for HSV-2, he is most likely negative for the virus.
Best,
Em

You will not get a zero as a result.  Your bf's result is negative and nothing to worry about.  were you tested?
