Swollen Left Foot & Ankle

by peppy2000, Jul 08, 2008 09:51AM

Here is my history. I have moderate high blood pressure and I have been taken Lisinopril  & Hydrochlorothiazide for over 5 years. The Hyro. has cause me to develop a Gout/ and High U. Acid problem.

Well the medication my doctor gave me to fight the gout cause mild reaction to my body called Steven John Syndrome "I had a mild reaction to the medication."

Well Now a month later my skin stays very dry and my left foot/ankle is swollen daily, plus my hands seem to hurt every morning I wake up.

First question: I'm I still recovering from the allergic reaction from the Steven Johnson Syndrome? And how long does it normal take to recover from this illness?

Second question: What would lead to my ankle to swell on & off. I can barley walk on the ankle. (Doctor already told me this ankle issue is not gout).
