Coping with Depression

I'm a 29 year old female that has been struggling with depression for 3 years now. I have been on several different medications and none have worked. I'm very weak and achy with severe headaches daily. I go to the dr regular usely getting my meds changed to something else that doesn't work. I've had ultrasounds, xrays, blood work and they find nothing wrong with me other than that it's depression. I cant find any relief at all and thats hard to deal with cause I can't do very much with my 3 kids cause I hurt too bad. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

i feel for you and totally understand. alot of us here are going through the same thing. when your put on an antidepressant do you give it enough time to start working? alot of meds can take weeks before you see any results. and you may need a combo of meds. depression causes many physical problems, like headaches, weekness and muscle pain, i go through that too. are you going to a phsyciatrist to get your meds? if not, then you should because they can help with a possible combo. hang in there and let us know how your doing. take care. remar

Is this something that just came up spontaneously all by itself or were there any major events that took place or started three years ago?
