purple hands and feet

my daughter is 13 months old .. today while i was work my mother in law noticed that her feet and hands were purple . so she picked her up out of her high chair and held her that is when she fell sleep . my mother in law could not wake her up for nothing . i got home from work and we took her to the ER and they said nothing was wrong with her . whawt could it be . ???
