by ooahmad, Jul 09, 2008 02:34AM
i had pain in my left testicle like 3 weeks and 2 weeks later it went away. but it came back just a little bit and this time on my right testicle also. one person told me that i have an infection and that i need to take antibiotics which i did and i felt that it really helped. but there is still a very small dull pain. any suggestion???

Hi

Pain in the testicles may suggest an underlying infection or a previous mechanical injury or trauma. You have not mentioned of any injuries or trauma to the area. A urinalysis, urine culture, a prostate secretion culture and a scrotal ultrasound may be necessary. We need to rule out any infections especially infections of the testicles and epididymis. The prostate appears to be uninvolved here.
