Banned from SEX!!! Dr's orders!! UGH!!

Ok I just have to vent... I also posted this on pregnancy 21-34 forum... I have been on Dr's orders for the last 4 weeks NO SEX! I am not happy. My husband is not happy... Don't get me wrong, we are willing to do whatever it takes to keep this pregnancy healthy, but the tension around here is really getting to me. We seem to be fighting more often and I am definately more crabby than usual... I know that there are other things we can do but we don't want to be tempted to have it lead further... Sometimes in the heat of the moment... you know it's hard to control yourself... I know TMI!! But we have 4 kids so reallt this is our only time alone together! I just need to vent because I am definately frustrated... My dh thinks I am being a B**** because of pregnancy hormones but I know better!!
Has anyone else been restricted?? Any suggestions on what to do to help with the tension between us lately??

God Bless ya, I have been restricted too but am not upset about it in the least and I do wish for my poor husbands sake that I felt differently about it at times. I guess for me its one of my pregnancy symptoms - if I don't want it at all I am definately pregnant - its weird because shortly prior to my m/c happeneing my sex drive came back in full force and while I tried to convice myself that maybe those pregnancies were different I was gonna want it 3-4 times a day for nine months I knew it my heart that wasn't that case. Your husband needs to be thankful that you are equally upset about it and you guys will need to work through it together!! Good luck to you - maybe it won't be off limits for the rest of your pregnancy or maybe it will, the good news is pregnancy even though it lasts a long time is not forever! You can go ahead and yell at me I know sometimes, someone elses optomism is NOT what you want to hear =-)

In the begining it didn't bother me cause I was feeling so bad, but now that I am feeling better it is nothering me... I really hope the Dr. lifts his ban soon... I do tell my husband he is lucky that i like to have sex!! He has friends complaining that their wives never want to do it... I'm sure once you feel better you will want to have sex again too... But let me tell you that tension sure does build up after awhile... However I would never trade my pregnancy for sex no matter how frustrated I get!!
