my son has rashes on his face

okay for about 2 weeks carmine has a rash on his cheeek thats not as bad though but under his chin on the left side the bottom of his lips is so red and rashes little pimples i think its from drolling but its so hard to feed him becuz the food gets there and makes it more red its really getting me upset cuz i can imagion how that feels i try not to wipe it my family says its from soo much drolling 247 hes 8 months still no teeth so he drolls all day but its just horrible to look at i dont know if theres anything to put on it any advice
