Im 6w4d pregnant and sunday i started bleeding. we went to the ER and had an u/s done the baby was fine heart rate of 127. i had a follow up appt monday (the next day) with my OB and she said that sometimes when the uterus stretches too quickly that it can cause some bleeding nad put me in bedrest until friday. i am still bleeding well its more like spotting but enough that i have to wear a liner. has anyone had this happen to them and still went on to a normal pregnancy? my next appt is tomarrow im just so nervous!

If it helps, I am 25 weeks pregnant and have had a whole slew of problems.  It's not the same as what you doctor says about you but I have had spotting since my sixth week of pregnancy.  I also have a three year old daughter and I spotted off and on the whole time (they don't know why) I carried her and she was born at 39 weeks.  It's good that you don't have a tear or abruption which is what is going on with my placenta.  Like I said, it's not the same thing but maybe it'll give you some hope.  Good luck.

Spotting is a common occurrence, especially during early pregnancy.  Some women (like aabarnett has experienced) have spotting thru their entire pregnancy.  Just keep in touch with your doctor about it, get regular check-ups, and if it gets any worse I would get in to see your DR right away (or go to the ER again).  If he/she feels everything's fine (aside from the spotting) and the baby is still growing well, it could just be your uterus growing too fast, etc.

I hope everything turns out to be fine!  Keep us posted!!
