hip and groin pain

I guess I should just go see a doctor. I had surgery to fix a ureter that collasped back in 2001. Since then I get this achy sensation coming from that area where the incision is. I also get a pinching feeling or prickly sensation that runs from that area down into my groin. Now I do have a hip on that side that has a bruised feeling and it is painful from time to time. This is around the same place as where they did the surgery. Could this be arthritis in my hip area or something else? I am worried.

That sounds like it could have several causes and may be nerve related. I would definitely get in to see the doctor. Let us know what you find out.
