weird mole on inside of cheek.

I have this odd mole thing growing on the inside of my cheek. IT hurts because I keep catching it between my teeth. I've had it for about a year it seems to have stayed the same size but it kind of appeared out of nowhere. but it appear on the spot where I chewed the inside of my cheek. is it a skin tag perhaps? Help. Should I worry?
