7 weeks high hcg but rising slow

by jess111, Jul 10, 2008 03:28PM
Hi im wondering if anyone can offer any insight, my dr. is just not very forthright and i guess im just looking for a positive outcome story like mine. ive never posted here before. I am 7 weeks 1 day , and on 7/3 (6 weeks 1 day) i went to er with slight period like cramping and spotting. u/s showed baby w/ irregular sac( no real explanation given) and  a heart rate of 112 which concerned the dr. my hcg levels were at 64,000. because of the holiday i was told to have hcg levels further checked on mon. 7/7 and wed. 7/9. i was told they should double in 48 hours. i tested at 118,00 on mon. and 148,000 on wed. i have had no more spotting or cramping since the 3rd, but im concerned that my levels didnt double just how bad is a irregular sac and 112 heart beat, can anyone tell me what my chances at having a m/c are? thank you so much.
