What are my chances of being pregnant?

by maddlove, Jul 10, 2008 07:05PM
I have a 24 day cycle.  My last period started June 24th.  We had sex late monday night the 30th. I was supposed to ovulate on July 4th according to calendars on the internet.  I am not trying to conceive but would not mind if I was pregnant.  We did not use protection and he did not pull out. I didn't know if anyone knew what my chances of being pregnant are?  I am just being impatient, but am driving myself crazy hoping I am. I fear getting my period which is supposed to start July 18th. So if I am pregnant I would only be a week along.  How early can you start to see symptoms?  And if I am supposed to start my period in about a week how do I know if they are pregnancy symptoms or just because I am goin to start my period?  That last 3 or 4 cycles I've had, my breasts had been sore 2 weeks prior to my period.  Basically from the time I ovulate to when I start. That by the way *****! :)  I am a week away from my period and they are not sore yet.  Also do you get discharge when you are pregnant?

An average couple ttc have a 25% chance of getting pregnant in a given month under favorable conditions (intercourse in ovulation window).

I would take the test and turn it under all light to see if there is a second line!!  That's what I did with all my babies!..... There was barely a line but it was there and if it is then it's positive honey and if it's neg take another in a week or so.  I always knew so early it was insane!!  Good luck

Pregnancy symptoms typically start about 2 weeks after conception which is also when a home pregnancy test will give a positive result - this will vary from women-to-women but is a good rule of thumb.

Pregnant and non-pregnant women get discharge so its not a good indicator of pregnancy,
