Persistent Nausea

by LarryG62, Jul 10, 2008 08:56PM
Still need help for my wife.  She has persisteent nausea.  Wakes up in the morning and feels OK. When she gets out of bed to go to the bathroom, she gets nauseous. Meclazine, dimenhydrinate and dramamine apparently have no effect on the nausea.  She has no appetite, but will drink some liquid and eat some cereal or scrmbled eggs, and, until the last week or so would get better.  For the past week, any time she gets up  and moves around she gets nauseous all over again.
She has had the HIDA test, and it was inconclusive...couldn't excite the gall bladder.  H pylori not present during EGD exam.  CAT scan of abdomen normal.  Inner ear tests turned out normal.  Blood tests have been normal.
I'm really desperate to find her some releif and/or the cause we can treat.  Her doctor is stumped.
