Hi,

Testicular trauma or viral infection can cause hardening of the testicles.

Testicular cancer can occur at any age and needs to be ruled out by a testicular ultrasound.

Do you remember if there was any trauma to the testicle prior to the onset of symptoms?
Any associated pain or burning senstaion?

You will need to make an appointment with your urologist to have the cause of the testicular hardening examined thouroughly.

In the interim, avoid strenuous physical exertion and contact sports that may cause the testicles further trauma and try scrotal elevation and wear supportive underwear.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
Regards
