37W-50% effaced-2cm-When will I go into labor??

by momof32b, Jul 11, 2008 08:39AM
I need some reference material ladies.  I'm 37w 4d and got checked by my dr yesterday.  50% effaced and 2 cm.  This is my 3rd pregnancy but my other 2 never progressed this fast.  With my first I never effaced or dialated and had to be induced about a week after my due date.  With my last, I was 40W, 3 cm and never effaced.  It seems to me that I'll never make it to my due date of July 28th with having made this much progress already...or am I being too optimistic??  What do you guys think?  Any similar stories you can share?  I'm getting soooo excited!  THANKS!
