should I be worried about this?

I had Chiari decompression in sept 2007. Last Nov.2007 I had a dural repair and again this last March 2008. I keep a low grade temp, lymph nodes had been swollen for about 3 mo. and have pain to the base of my skull all the time. My last 2 MRI's have changed. I don't want to bother my neurosurgeon if this is nothing. look at the changes at the back of my skull. My family doctor ordered the mri's. Is this important enough to tell my neurosurgeon about? Everytime I see him he tells me that this is normal post-op. The radiologist that read this didn't mention anything about the back base of my skull.

I am not a radiologist, but even I can plainly see that you have had some pretty major changes in a short period of time on your MRI's. If I were you I would not hesitate to contact my neurosurgeon, especially since your still experiencing some problems. In my experience I never take just one doctors word on anything, especially when you have doubts. Good Luck.
