Is it diagnosed correctly?

I fell and broke my right hip April 17, had it replaced, and in returning from Europe on a 26 hour trip, I was strapped down across my hips on a gurney for 7 hours.  4 days after the return I awoke with burning, searing pain in my outer left thigh from hip to knee - at first glance my Primary diagnosed it as Meralgia Paresthetica/Peripheral Neuropathy and sent me to a Neurologist.  She did nerve conduction test, did CT scan of chest, spine and abdomen, gave me rx for Vicodin and said to double or triple on my Lyrica (which I was already on for PRN from the shingles a year ago). She sent me to a Spine specialist who ordered MRI - he says there's not enough pressure in L2 and L3 to cause the pain I'm in and sent me to a Pain Management dr.  This week he tried a nerve block at my left hip bone and needless to say, it didn't work.  The burning has been a constant since May 1.  I'm now on 3 Lyricas (75 mg) a day, 2 Oxycodone (5-325 mg) every four hours and nothing relieves it; it only takes the edge off for a little bit. I'm scheduled for another appt. with the Pain specialist in 3 weeks - I don't know if I can stand it that much longer.  Any thoughts?
