numbing and aches on right side of body only, and loss of vision

My uncle is suffering from body aches and pains throughout his body, but mainly its on the right side of his body, and lately he has had some loss of vision, and also his ankles and knees swell. These symtoms have progressed over the last 2 wks and I need answers, he also has been having severe headaches. The doctor has advised him to have and MIR done, and he agrees that it should be done. But there is one problem and that is he has no insurance, and I don't know what to do or tell him. My uncle is like a father figure to me and I love him so much. And I am just trying to find answers and searching online with the help anyone out there....If ur a Neurologist or anyone with an answer please contact me... I need help for my uncle.

How old is your uncle? He is in need of urgent medical attention. Severe headaches with numbness and loss of vision can be due to migraine or even a stroke.
I would suggest you can try OTC pain killers for headache but other than that he needs to undergo a complete neurological examination. Let me know if you need any more information.
