Well you are off to a good start. Admitting it to yourself and reaching out for help is so important. Not sure if you want to do CT or a taper? Either way everyone is here to help. I did it CT. You will feel like you have a bad flu for a about a week but after day 5 things do start to get better. Keep yourself busy even when its the last thing you want to do. Excersise helps alot to. Watch a funny movie..read a good book andthing to keep your mind elsewhere. You will find what works for you. In the health pages here look up the Thomas Recipe. It has helped many people here. Post, post, post. It really does help. There is nothing that would shock us. We have all been right where you are at. Its a hard battle but one that is totally doable. Just stay strong. Remember you didnt get here over night so it is gonna take time.

Well...fortunately ur dose is no higher than that...some take that amount several times a day...oxycontin is time released so it is hard to split them in to pieces and taper...oxycodone would be easier to taper with...or u could CT...may feel bad for a few days but u r young and u will pull thru..tell everyone u have the flu...what is it that u want to do?

Hi ya all' my name is Jackie. I am married to a man who I just found out was addicted to oxy to the past ten years. He has been clean for 17 days now and doing great. But how did I not know. I mean Iknew something he is 150 lbs, and 6'2. Will he go back? He's doing treatment at home with a little clanazapam. WHat should I do? I love him, and want us to stay together, but what can I do for my husband?
