Hernia again?

Yeah ive previously had a hernia opperation many many years ago. However ive now noticed a sort of dull aching to the left right of my testies/ball sack and to my lower gut, slightly. Is this just the hernia comming back? I mean i dont know much about this, is it serious, what should i do? Im not in pain its just aching and annoying really.
