Hi:  I too have palps time to time - and Anxiety and lots and lots of Stress !!!
the stress can lead to back pains and cramping bad ! and also panic attacks as well.
I have to ask hows your fathers blood pressure ?  and is he on anytype of meds for b.p
or ?  as some if not most medications can cause these symptoms to happen !

Ok - I found something that works for in stopping and or slowing down the palps
and calming me down !  its called  Natural Calm powder drink - its 100% natural
and you can drink as much as you want !  its found at most health food stores and vitamin shops nationwide -  or online by its name.. it can also be found on ebay !

the powder works wonders for me,  it calms me down and really helps !
sometimes takes the edge off stress and stops panic attacks !
You might give it shot !   and see if it helps !

this also works with being on any medications.  wont hurt a thing !

hope I helped you out here..  take care   Boogernose
