Long Cycles, post IUD

I had a Merina IUD for three years and had it removed in mid April of '08. Within two days, I had a very heavy period that lasted for a week, approximately. Three weeks later, I had another heavy period lasting 5-6 days. AFter my second period, we began trying for another pregnancy. (we have three other children, no problems conceiving). My period came after 32 days. This cycle, we specifically kept track of ovulation, the days before during and after. I do know when I ovulate as I test my cm regularly and have the same ovulatory symptoms I have always had in the past.I am currently on day 35 of my cycle and have a negative pregnancy test. I do not really have any symptoms of pregnancy, not my usual, anyway. I have had odd dreams for the past 10 nights in a row, inability to sleep, frequent urination during the night hours and some lower back pain from time to time. It's very discouraging to have such a long cycle with a negative pregnancy test. Is this common after a progesterone IUD? I am 29 years old, healthy, and have always been in good gynelogical health. I know that the longer cycles can cause issues with conception. And feedback would be fabulous!
