Namaste,

If you had your liver checked and it was fine, I wouldn't even consider that as a possible cause for your present discomfort.

It could be a multiple of things ranging from indestion to internal bleeding(don't want to scare you).

If it persists, however, I'd definitely get check my a healthcare provider to eliminate something serious, which I'm sure it is not.

I have various aches and pains that last for days and most of them are created in my mind, although I'm not saying that the pain or the symptoms are not real, only that I've brought them upon myself, so I can have something else to complain about and to continue my sickness.

I had this too.  My blood tests were always fine, but at one point I got a CT scan and it indicated fatty infiltration of the liver.  I'm told by others that this can cause pain.  Alcohol can cause fatty infiltration, but it will eventually leave as you stay sober.

After 6 months of no booze, good eating, and exercise, I had an ultrasound and the fatty infiltration was gone.  By this time, the pain was gone too.  I'm not saying that this is your issue, but I think you'll find that this pain will eventually leave ;...it just might take a few months.

hello. just wanted to say i've been through a similar experience. i've been sober little over 9 months now and i still get pain and even the shakes from time to time. considering the damage we do to ourselves i guess it comes with the territory. at one point i became concerned and was referred to page 133 of the aa basic text--there i found a little more hope and good advice!
best wishes--gm

hey there...you may want to see if it's your gall bladder as well, as your symptoms seem to be a little more in line with that?  though they might have seen that when they were checking the liver.  still, couldn't hurt.
