If you had your liver checked and it was fine, I wouldn't even consider that as a possible cause for your present discomfort.
It could be a multiple of things ranging from indestion to internal bleeding(don't want to scare you).
If it persists, however, I'd definitely get check my a healthcare provider to eliminate something serious, which I'm sure it is not.
I have various aches and pains that last for days and most of them are created in my mind, although I'm not saying that the pain or the symptoms are not real, only that I've brought them upon myself, so I can have something else to complain about and to continue my sickness.

After 6 months of no booze, good eating, and exercise, I had an ultrasound and the fatty infiltration was gone. By this time, the pain was gone too. I'm not saying that this is your issue, but I think you'll find that this pain will eventually leave ;...it just might take a few months.
