Question about yaz!

So im 21y/o no health problems what so ever. I have been on yaz for a yr and i love it. i havnt had any problems with it at all and lucky to have no side effects. I have a vacation coming up soon and unfortunately i am scheduled to start my period at that time. I was wondering if anyone has ever skipped the 4 placebo pills and just gone straight into the next pack, non stop so they wont have their period. Does it work? I really need to know. I think my gynocologist said something about this when i started it a yr ago but i cant remember
