Changing environments may entail that your skin also adjusts to the weather. If you have previous allergies, then these allergic reactions may resurface. Aside from external factors, stress and food intake may also be a factor for skin conditions associated with travel or changing environments. For dry skin, we have to consider irritant dermatitis or just a simple diagnosis of xerosis. Xerosis is a general term for skin dryness which may be caused by external factors mentioned above and underlying disease conditions ( eg hormonal imbalance and autoimmune or vascular factors).
At this point, wash your face with a mild cleanser like Cetaphil. Pat dry and do not rub. Apply generously moisturizers eg Vitamin E cream especially at night. Drink plenty of water and exercise regularly. Your skin should adjust in time.
