Hemmorids or...?

For the last few months I have had some pain in my anus when I wipe or have a bowel movement, it has gotten a bit worse as it is bleeding now.  I am guessing this is hemmorids?  The blood is bright red, not dripping, but each time I wipe I get blood.  Sometimes I do not have.  For the last few months I had also been using soap in the shower to clean myself, but I have since stopped and only use water.  I try to avoid any kind of scented products to wipe also, but you know nowadays it is so difficult to find products which are just paper nothing more.  

Is this hemmorids or something more serious?  I am thinking about going for awhile with doing the above to see if the condition improves by itself.  It appears my stools are getting smaller also, maybe a result from constriction in the bowel?  I think I may have IBS also. I stopped taking medicationf or taht 4 years ago, it was bad, gave me serious headaches, just tried to eat a little better.
