What is your opinion about using turmeric, ginger, and/or aspirin during chemo?

DO NOT USE ASPIRIN.   aspirin is a blood thinner and your blood is thin enough with chemo.... it is DANGEROUS...   If you use spices for food that is fine.. ginger can be used sometimes to control nausea.  Again DO NOT use anything with out checking with your oncologist..... Ronni

I used ginger throughout my chemo and still do.  I also did fish oil, l-glutimine to calm stomach as prescribed by an oncology office.  I still do alot of suppliments.  but i agree do not take aspirin unless it called for by your physician because of some heart issues. good luck

I, too, did ginger during my chemo along with Reishi mushroom, 4000mg of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, fish oil, Coq10 and other supplements.  But have not heard about taking aspirin..I agree you should consult your doctor about this.
