Close cervix exam

I am 51 postmenopausal and had break thur bleeding. My doc could not get a biosey due to a closed cervix she sent me for a vaginal ultra sound. The ultra sound showed a 9mm thicking. The tech called in a doctor to read the test and he wanted to try to break thur my cervix and get the biopsy. Like an idiot I let him...it was extreemly painful. He found a polyp that they measured a lot. He removed the instruments without taking a biopsy and told me that my regular doctor would need to do a D&C and remove the polyp. I of couse began looking on the internet, and now realize that my symptoms are cancer related. OK That is not my questions: My question is since the proceedure I have experienced constant pain where I had no pain before. Now I have nausa, diarea, and extreem weekness, feeling like I going to pass out. NO bleeding. Is it possible that what he did has given me an infection... or have I just picked up a bug?

I'm sorry you are going through all this. I think you should call the doctor's office. I hope things work out for you.
