confused whether it is a STD or just UTI..

Hello.

I am a 20-year old female.

A couple of weeks ago I have had sexual contact with three different guys in a row, 2 of whom I haven’t had sexual contact ever before; and the other one, that time was our second time to have sexual contact (the first contact was a month ago). Days after those 3 consecutive contacts with the three different guys, I have had moderate burning sensation while urinating. Other symptoms that I feel (even up to now) are mild pain in my pelvic area which goes off every so often, and slight itching in my vagina which also goes off every now and then. Although I don’t have any discharges.

I haven’t consulted a physician yet. I am confused if this is a sexually-transmitted disease or just UTI. I am still suffering from the symptoms even up to now. Please help. I am really confused.

All the guys I had contact with did not wear condom, and the two of them ejaculated inside me.

Thank you very much.

I would go to your physician to get it checked.

Next time it may be safer with condoms.

Hi,

You will need to be tested for STDs.

The burning sensation could be due to a UTi also, but that may have been associated with increased frequency of urination as well.

It would be best to have the tests done at the earliest so as to start early treatment, which gives better results.

Practising safe sex (condoms) can protect you from sexually transmitted infections and HIV infection.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
Regards
