Help! My sister has Hasi... now my mom thinks so too!

by sunshyne8372, Jul 14, 2008 02:01PM
My sister was just diagnosed with hashimoto's. Now my mother is taking a look at some of her symptoms that she has had for years and thinking she needs to get tested. She is always cold, bruises way too easy to the point of ripping her skin off ( the doc said it was "thin skin" but she isn't that old), tired all the time and can't sleep at night. She recently had a sleep study done and found that she has sleep apnea as well as RLS. Meanwhile my poor older sister is having to deal with her problem. She said they are going to start her on some medication is there anything natural over the counter like B-12 that she can take to help the tired feeling all the time?
