I need some advice about spotting/period...not pregnant

by bioclock1, Jul 14, 2008 07:24PM
HI gals! Well, quickly...I wasn't due for AF until 7/7 at the EARLIEST but shoulda been around 7/11 per my normal (used to be normal neways) 31 day cycle. On 7/2 i started spotting with cramps beginning. Spotting was very light all day and cramping was strong but mild compared to normal AF cramping. By 7/5 the spotting continued but cramping went away. On 7/7 I stopped the progesterone cream (as this was day 27 of my cycle) and expected AF. I have spotted EVERY DAY without cramps since the 5th (when cramps ended) and tonight, CD 34, I started getting REALLY MILD twinge like i do right before i start (except this happened on the 2nd too and it was spotting) so I checked and the spotting became less brown/dark and more watery-ish red colored. So its been a total of 5 minutes since this started but i'm still not cramping (i realize this may change) like I do PRIOR to AF "flow".

I'm wondering what is going on....does anyone have any advice or experience to explain to me what could cause me to spot 9 days early for a total of 12 days (so far) and then POSSIBLY start AF late? (not yet sure it IS af just yet....)

Thanks for any advice!!
P.S> if i don't start AF...i'm scheduled to see gyn on 7/17....

Geee...I am not sure. How confusing. I spotted 3 days before AF was due then 1 day following my bfp. Have you tested?

I haven't used any methods so I am not sure if this could be a wacky side effect of the progesterone or not.

I would test today just incase..otherwise I am stumped. Hopefully your doc can give you some insight.

Sorry I am not more helpful....I hope thigns get back on track for you soon. I know this can be frustrating.

well "af" came on 7/16 and i thought for sure that this was the real deal, but looking back as of today, I'm not so sure. I started bleeding more of a red color and it became heavier than spotting and b/c of this I was elated that AF was here. But, as of 7/17 in the evening...she stopped. Now nothing. Also, the cramps were again very mild, not like the normal AF I get.
I had to reschedule my appt that was for 7/17 b/c OF COURSE AF or whatever reared her head. I'm not joking about this: every year, for my yearly gyn appt, my AF gets screwed up and comes the day b4 or day of my appt!! EVERY YEAR!!! Its like my vagina is afraid of the doctor! hahaahahahahahahahaha

So, luckily, i had another appt with ANOTHER gyn that i never cancelled so i'll see her on monday, b/c i really wanna know whats up!
thanks for responding girls!
