Beard Loss and Hepatitis

Hi, I am having a patchy beard loss under my chin - its started with a dime and now has grown to a vrey big circle and increasing.........no hairs coming up there and the skin there is just plain smooth......I was diagnosed with Hepatitis B and Herpes early this year and I am wondering if any one of these can cause the patchy beard loss??
