itching

I currently take Psorizide and use Elidil and OTC Caladryl lotion. I have intense itching mostly on my feet and hands. I was diagnosed about three years ago with Eczema and sometimes can go months without any itching at all. Lately it has become more intense sometimes waking me up at night. I am also experiencing scalp itching and have started using head and shoulders even though I have no dandruff. I do have dryness partly due to Type 2 Diabetes. I am seeking 1) any additional remedies, medical or homeopathic and 2) a prescription for Elidil. My Internist recently left private practice and I am currently un-insured. I don't want to go to a Dermatologist until I have a job, insurance and a new primary care physician. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.
