changing tsh

Hi,

My question is abouut changing TSH levels with normal T4 and T3 levels.  I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism by my fertility doctor 6 months ago. He started me on 50mcg of synthyroid. My TSH was about 14 at that time, and my free t4 was 0.9.  The TSH came down to about 6 and the t4 came to about 1 and he increased my synthroid to 100mcg. Then my TSH went down to <.01 and my t4 went upto 2. Then he reduced my dose to 75mcg and my TSH remained <.01 and my t4 was 1.4. He said this was fine.  I was not sure so I went to an endo and she rechecked my levels, and also checked antibodies and free t3.  The TSH was about.06 and the t4 was 1.4 and t3 was also okay, antibodies were +. She reduced the dose to 62.5mcg levoxyl and rechecked. This time my TSH was 5.7 and t4 was 1 and t3 was normal. My fertility md said the TSH should be suppressed and the endo says TSH is better on the high side. Which is true? I do not understand why my TSH keeps changing so rapidly.
