by elmo607, Jul 15, 2008 08:55AM
we have a 3 year old and from april 07 to october of 07 before my husband left we were trying to concieve but didnt. then we tried for two weeks in december when he was home and 2 weeks in march when we went to go see him. the only thing we are haviing problems with is that we have a 3 year old and we want to know what the best age will be to have another child or when we should stop trying because of the age difference. any ideas why we havent been able to concieve? Or what the age should be? we would like to hear any ideas or comments? thanks you.

My sister had hers almost 5 years apare because she didn't want to have to take care of two small children. I'm having mine close together because I turn 35 next year, and I want them close in age (plus, I don't want to get used to sleeping again, then turn around and have to go through being up all night long again).

It's a personal choice. It's what's best for YOU (physically, mentally and emotionally) and what's good for your family/finances/etc...

As for not being able to concieve, maybe you're stressing so much about it during those brief times that you're together that your body is just putting up a fight. Did you track your O? Have you tried Pre-seed lubricant? That may help, too. Just so you're not using KY or some other lubricant that will kill off the sperm.

That's all the help I can give. Hope it's something! :-)
