Has anyone heard of Anne Frahm?

She had breast cancer and wrote a book about her experiences. She believed she put her cancer in remission by radically changing her diet to organic, raw fruits and veggies with some grains and later adds fish, I guess. She was very strict. It's kind of an interesting thought. I've always wondered how much our diet can play a role in so many things we're afflicted with like cancer.
I'm asking because I have a friend who was just diagnosed with breast cancer and just read her book and is very interested in starting this program.
Does anyone know anything about this or have any information that might be helpful for my friend?
