Symmetrical lumps on my upper thighs

I am a professional dancer, and have recently in the past month or so noticed I have a horizontal line/bump across the top of both my thighs. It is visually noticable when pointed out to someone, and you can feel the bumps with the hand. Its seems to be 3-4 inches in length and an 1inch in width. I am unsure if this is overbuilt upper thigh muscle or dense fat tissue and is more noticible since I have lost a little weight.

This did start after a very very strenuous dance class. Please help!!
Thank you
