nodule

by jenloca, Jul 16, 2008 10:05AM
I'm a 27 yr female. I was diagnosed with Lupus in May of this year. About a month ago my TSH level was low. I had a couple of blodwork done and everything else was normal except the TSH. I went to see my endocrinologist and she decided that I must go for a sonogram, I had it done and it showed that I have a solitary nodule. size 0.71x0.66x0.53cm. Is this a big nodule? I have a sore throat and my lymph nodes are swollen. Can this be cancer? do Nodules disappear on it's on with this size? My doctor told me that I need to go for a Thyroid uptake scan? what will this determine? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
