Type 1

I recently (6 weeks ago) had a OB of what looked like herpes.  The initial IGM was 5.0 and the IGG for type 2 was .07 & type 1 was .57.  This was after 3 weeks.  At 5 weeks the scores were IGM 4.59 and IGG type 2 was .06 and type 1 was 1.15.  So my doc said I had an acute case of type 1.  This seems confirmed as my gf tested for type 1 as well.  The OB was in my genital region, but now I am having symptoms like I had in the first OB, headache, sore throat, swollen lips, and even more severe swelling around my face.  The swelling and redness has 7 days and now has gone down, but I had no obvious OB??  Just a sore tongue and mouth.  I thought it might be from the Valtrex...I had started it 2 weeks ago, but I stopped during this OB bc I started having very dry red eyes just like the first OB which I thought was from the drugs.  Once I stopped the drugs I stopped having dry red eyes.  This time stopping the meds has help my red eyes, but I have a much worse case of swollen lips, face, and my mouth hurts more and my left ear is hurting now.

So based on this info:

Is it likely I have type 1 in both localations?

I am 7-8 days into this "prodrome" stage with no visible OB.  Is that normal?

What are the chances I will have another OB of type 1 genitally?

Why would I have such a quick reaccurance of type 1 on my mouth and worse feelings than the first time?  Neither time has produced signs of an OB, just the symptoms.
